Diane Ross
CEO
Diane received her Master of Science degree
in Speech-Language Pathology in 1975 from UNR. Prior to The Continuum, she was the Director of
Nevada Communication Services and held communication and speech contracts with major acute hospitals,
skilled nursing facilities and home health agencies in Washoe County for over 20 years.
In addition to coordinating the various programs
at The Continuum she also currently participates in numerous community advisory boards and
chairs the Nevada Caregiver Coalition. Diane is the recipient of the UNR Sanford Center for
Aging Senior Star Award and the Governor's Certificate of Appreciation for Services to Nevada's Seniors.
Her interests include gardening, cooking, and
exploring various health and wellness programs.

Bonnie Deach M.S. CCC
Speech-Language Pathologist Communications Therapy coordinator
-Pediatric Care Manager
Bonnie has been a Speech-Language Pathologist at The Continuum
for ten years. In 1979, Bonnie earned a BS in Special Education with the
emphasis on the hearing impaired and in 1993 received a masters degree at UNR
in Speech-Language Pathology. She has been the past secretary of the Nevada Speech
& Hearing Association. Bonnie is also trained in sign language, Autism, Deep
Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation and electrical stimulation for swallowing
disorders, Beckman oral motor training, and specializes in pediatric swallowing
and feeding disorders. Bonnie has also participated in family and respite caregiver
training classes in Washoe County and outlying rural communities.
Bonnie has lived in the Reno-Sparks area for twenty-nine years
and was married at The Continuum!

Rachael Walden M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Rachael received her masters degree at UNR in May of 2001 with
special emphasis on Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Rachael received
the NSSLHA Award for Outstanding Achievement, the Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital
Medical Student Scholarship and is Dynavox AAC trained and certified.
Rachael has lived in Reno for ten years. She and her husband David enjoy biking and backpacking.

Lucy Michel Greenly M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Lucy received her Master of Science degree in 1994 from the University
of Nevada at Reno. She specializes in adults with swallowing difficulties and children with various
problems including but not limited to feeding, attention behavior problems, auditory deficits,
Autism, and articulation. She is a member of ASHA and the Nevada Speech
and Language Association and attends meetings for associations when possible.
Lucy has lived in Reno most of her life only to move to Denver,
Colorado for 7 years and to return after obtaining speech and language experience
with Veterans and children of all ages. When not involved in serving the community,
she spends time with Quinn, her husband, and Noah, their son. The family
enjoys spending their time being involved in church activities, skiing, camping and vacationing
for pleasure or to visit family.

Lisa Barthel-Rosa M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Lisa received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology
at UNR in 1993. She is a certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association. She
specializes in adults with degenerative disorders, adults and children with swallowing difficulties,
as well as, children with a wide variety of speech and language disorders. She has experience in many different
therapy settings including: hospitals, nursing homes, school district, out patient rehab, home health services
and private practice.
Lisa was born and raised in Reno, NV. She and her husband, Luis, of 12 years, have two amazing children, Dino &
Mia. The family enjoys skiing, playing outdoors, movies, vacationing and visiting relatives all over the world.

Paula Frey OTD-OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Paula graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in St.
Louis with a doctorate in Occupational Therapy with an emphasis in mobility impairments and participation
in the community. Leaving family and friends behind in Michigan, she and her husband moved to Nevada to explore
a job opportunity in 2005. Although the job is gone, they remain, attracted to the beauty and excitement of the
Sierra Mountains. She enjoys cycling, mountain biking, hiking, snow shoeing, soccer an any other activity that will
get her outdoors. She also volunteers for Disabled Sports USA Far West during the summer.

Rhonda Serr OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Rhonda received her B. S. in Health Ecology from from the University of Nevada, Reno
in 2002, and continued on to the University of Washington in Seattle to receive her Masters in Occupational
Therapy in 2005, with an emphasis in pediatrics and sensory integration. Her master's project, An OT
Program to Promote Sharing and Turn-Taking in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, under the supervision
of Jean Deitz, PhD, OTR, FAOTA, was recognized and presented at the 2006 AOTA National Conference.
Rhonda has also had experience volunteering as an OT at a residential facility for individuals with
disabilities in Argentina, and is recently trained in Craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute.
Rhonda moved to the Reno Area with her family at age nine. She completed her second
student internship here at The Continuum in 2005. In her free time, she enjoys training for and competing
in triathlons across the western states, as well as riding horses and snow boarding.

Elayne Wedertz PT
Physical Therapist
Elayne graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1973 from California State University, Fresno. Elayne has experience in Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Orthopedics and neurological
patients. She is trained in Vestibular and Balance Rehabilitation.
Elayne has been a Reno resident for over 20 years. She is married
to a physical therapist and has two children.

Lisa Boughner PT
Physical Therapist
Lisa received her Master of Science degree in 1990 from Duke
University with special emphasis in Pediatrics, Neurodevelopmental treatment
and neurological patients. She is a certified Pediatric NDT, strength and conditioning
specialist, and a certified ski instructor. Lisa volunteered for eight years
with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago Adaptive Sports Program. She founded
and established the Adaptive Ski Program.
Lisa has recently moved to Reno from Chicago where she worked
for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago for the past 13 years with an emphasis
on Pediatric Rehabilitation and helped to grow the Day Rehab Division of RIC.
She has been married for 2 1/2 years and has 1 child. Lisa and her husband Tom
enjoy skiing, hiking, camping and family.

Sandra Wilson PT
Physical Therapist
Sandy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy
in 1978 from the University of California San Francisco with special emphasis
in Geriatrics and Home Health. She continues her education in geriatrics and
orthopedics. Sandy was the speaker at "The Winds of Change - Home Health Care"
in the 1990's for the Home Health Care Association of Nevada. She served on the
Board of Directors of the Nevada Hispanic Services from 1988 - 1992.

Janet Coffer PT
Physical Therapist
Janet graduated from, Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science
degree in biology and English and from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at
Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Over the past twenty-seven years, she has
had the privilege of working with patients in acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals,
outpatient clinics, and long term care facilities in Texas. She was the clinical education coordinator
and in-house education coordinator for the physical therapy department of a 600 bed teaching hospital for
ten years.
Three years ago, Janet and her husband acted on the impulse to 'Go West' and
moved to Reno. They celebrated their twenty-fifth anniversary this summer and enjoy time with friends,
church activities, and walking in the Sierra Nevada with their two dogs.

Chris Colberg RPT
Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
Chris graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1990 with a Master of
Physical Therapy degree. She has been practicing physical therapy in Reno since 1990 in hospital,
outpatient, and home health settings. She was with The Continuum from 1994 to 2001, returning to
do caregiver training classes in Reno and outlying rural areas in 2004. In 2006 Chris joined the
physical therapy department. Chris is a certified Aston® Patterning practitioner, teaching the
Aston® Fitness for Living program recognized by the National Council on Aging as one of the best
new practices in 2005 National Council on Aging .
Chris and her husband enjoy, skiing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family.

Kerri received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 from Humboldt
State University with special emphasis in Athletic Training. She received her
certification in massage therapy in 2003 at Ralston School of Massage.

Denise Hund LSW
ReGenerations Coordinator
Denise received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work
in 1980 from Kansas State University with special emphasis in Gerontology. She
has a background of twenty years in focus planning and development of senior
based programs such as Adult Day centers. Denise has provided program planning
and operation of the ReGenerations Adult Day program at The Continuum for ten
years.
Denise is an advisor committee member at the Center for Cognitive
Aging - UNR School of Medicine and a member and presenter for the Alzheimer's
Association education committee.

Kimberly Howard A.K.A. "Kim" was born and raised in San Francisco, California. After moving
to Reno with her 16 year old son and later her 19 year old daughter, she began working for The Continuum a year ago.
Kim enjoys reading, working with kids and singing old 70's songs.

Kristina is a graduate of Reno High School and the Prater Way College of Beauty.
She has had a lot of experience with taking care of children and is interested in pursuing education
pertaining to this position.
Kristina's first impression as she walked into The Continuum was great. Everyone was so nice and she had a good
feeling when she left. Kristina applied here because she loves working with kids.
Kristina is the second oldest of six children and has been living in Reno since the 7th grade.
She loves dancing, sewing and painting.

Jerry Cruitt
Special Projects Coordinator
Jerry received his Bachelor's degree in Architecture in 1967
from the University of California, Berkeley and is licensed in Nevada and California.
Early training with a large firm in San Francisco in hospital, nursing home and
senior housing design set a path towards work in health care. A specialty contractor's
license now allows The Continuum to offer design/build services to provide increased
accessibility, safety and independence for those who are living at home and who
may be at risk. Jerry also was an instructor in design /construction at Truckee
Meadows Community College.

JoAnn Ross-Blake
Financial Coordinator
JoAnn is a Certified Public Accountant. She graduated from the University
of Nevada at Reno in accounting in 1987. JoAnn is a member of the Nevada Society of CPA.
Her first job was an "Angel" activity aide in a local nursing home.
JoAnn is married and has two children, Karlie and Stephen. She enjoys
volunteering in her children's classrooms. Both children were enrolled in our Carousel Day Care,
allowing JoAnn to continue working and having her children close by. Her interests include stamping,
Jazzercise and many outdoor activities.

Kathy received her diploma in Data Processing in Wisconsin as well as sixty-four credits towards an Associate of Accounting degree. She has seventeen years in the Accounting field, from a Production Specialist at a Stockbroker firm to a Program Assistant for Clark County and Office Manager in Reno. Kathy has been with The Continuum since the year 2000.
