Our Services

The Continuum Rehabilitation Program - Providing occupational, physical and speech
and communication therapies. Our clients can come for one therapy or participate in all
three. Our therapy team meets weekly and family conferences and training are part
of our services. We encourage family and caregiver participation. Each client has a case
manager to ensure the quality of the program. When the acute phase of rehabilitation is
completed the client may choose to continue in an individual or group maintenance
program. Our customer survey responses are at the 98% satisfaction level.

Massage Therapy - The massage therapist at The Continuum has been trained in various forms of massage including Zero Balancing, therapeutic massage, and Swedish relaxation massage. Zero Balancing is a technique which integrates traditional and Eastern concepts of the body's anatomy and energy into a therapeutic protocol. Balancing the mind and body energies, from dense tissues to the skeletal system, helps relieve physical and mental symptoms to improve the body's ability to deal with life's stresses; thereby maintaining decreased muscle tension and an increased ability to maintain total body health. Therapeutic massage techniques including strain/counter strain, trigger point therapy, and gentle stretching in combination with Swedish massage are also employed by the massage therapist. Gift certificates are available.

ReGenerations - This is our adult day health program. We currently serve approximately
45 clients in an environment that strives to improve functional abilities as well as having a
heck of a lot of fun. This program also provides a break for family and caregivers. Planned
activities include intergenerational programs with Carousel as well a
community guests-from musicians to pet therapists.

Carousel - This program is a small family style infant and child care center. We are
unique as we are able to bring all of our children together for part of the day. Our
inclusion program allows us to provide services to children with special needs. Our
program is limited to 23 participants.

Home Safety and Modification - A very important goal is to keep our clients safe in
their homes. This department is called the Mod Squad . We are currently providing home
safety evaluations and unique modifications solutions throughout 5 Northern Nevada
Counties.
