The Carousel

The Carousel is a unique program that offers a positive and nurturing learning environment.  The children benefit from the family-style classroom, where they have the freedom to explore their environment and are encouraged to learn through play.  We feel that this philosophy fosters a positive self-image, as well as teaching cooperation, responsibility, and important social and communication skills.

Our school is open to children of all abilities.  Both our typically developng children and our children with special needs learn tolerance and empathy while interacting in the same classroom.  We recognize the individuality of each child and treat all children with dignity and respect.

The Carousel is fortunate to also have an Intergenerational program onsite.  We believe that our daily interactions with the Adult Day Club create loving and enriching relationships between the young and the old.


We strongly believe that these years in a child's life are critical and each individual deserves the best start in life that we can give him or her.
